What a great first week! We have such awesome students in our middles school and they are really off to a great start! They are getting into the swing of things quickly and am I looking forward to our year together.

Shared our summer booktalks! The students did awesome and were very creative in how they
presented their books!

Choose a self-selected novel for Trimester 1 
Get parent permission slip signed for book choice
Get study hall permission slip to listen to music signed

6th Grade Survival/Organization:
Continued class discussion on the importance of organization in middle school.
Filled out our planners and set up calendar for September
Shared personal learning styles and how we learn best
